NZ Learner
Delete your account
Start account deletion in the app, or email a request if you no longer have the app.
Delete inside the app
- Connect to the internet and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Profile and select Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation and confirm deletion. If the app asks you to sign in again, do so, then retry deletion.
- Wait for the result. If the operation is interrupted or its outcome is uncertain, reopen the app and follow the retry instructions, or contact us.
Request deletion by email
Send an email to blue0orbit@gmail.com with the subject “NZ Learner account deletion”. Send it from the email address linked to your app account where possible, and say that you want your account and associated data deleted.
Start a deletion requestIf your email application does not open, copy the address above into your email service. Do not send your password, sign-in code, purchase token or identity documents. If you can no longer access the account’s email address, explain that in your message.
The developer personally handles deletion requests. Before deleting an account we check that the request comes from the account holder, for example by replying to the account’s email address. We then delete the NZ Learner account and confirm by email. Sending the email does not by itself delete an account.
What is deleted
Successful deletion removes your NZ Learner account (held in Firebase Authentication). Google then removes it from its live and backup systems within 180 days; sign-in IP address logs are kept for a few weeks. In-app deletion also erases that account’s learning records on the device you use — saved results, bookmarks, mistakes, streaks, XP, reminder settings, cached Pro status and daily allowance. Cleanup is limited to the account being deleted and resumes if it is interrupted.
What is not deleted
- Learning records on other devices. Progress is stored only on each device, so an email request cannot erase it remotely. Clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app on those devices. Uninstalling alone does not delete your account.
- Google Play purchase and order records, which Google keeps under its own policies. Deleting your account does not refund or transfer Pro.
- Information already shared with Unity Ads, which Unity keeps under its own policies.
- Diagnostics already sent, if you had switched them on. They are not linked to your account: Analytics event data is kept for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months, and crash reports for 90 days before deletion starts.
- Support emails, which are deleted 90 days after your request is resolved, unless needed for an ongoing dispute or a legal obligation.
See the Privacy notice for the full list of information the app uses and how long it is kept.
